Christmas Blessings

May your ability to love be strong,

For your family, friends, and enemies too.

May you forgive and be forgiven of every wrong,

For, none of us fully know what we do.

May you turn the other cheek,

But protect your heart from harm.

May you find what you seek,

And, for others, be a lucky charm,

Bearing gifts to the meek.

May you know the miracle of love

In both receiving and in giving.

May you feel the spirit of the dove,

And the peaceful joy of living

When there is nothing to fear.

May you be filled with holy light,

All the days of every year,

And, may you see it shining bright

In everyone, no matter their religion or race.

May you be a Good Samaritan,

And know the gift of divine grace--

Unconditional, egalitarian, humanitarian

Goodwill for the entire human race.
